Introduction- Abirakast 250mg

Abirakast 250mg (abiraterone acetate) is a hormonal treatment for adult males with prostate cancer that was recently found. Abiraterone acetate (Abirakast 250 mg) is an oral medicine that blocks the function of proteins (CYP17A1 enzyme) involved in the production of testosterone, a male hormone. Because prostate cancer cells require these chemicals to grow, abiraterone acetate targets excessive testosterone production. Abiraterone is used in patients with prostate cancer who have failed to respond to conventional chemotherapy alternatives (docetaxel) (metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer) Adults with minor or no symptoms who have not yet received chemotherapy or who have failed to respond to alternative hormonal therapies (androgen deprivation therapy).

This medicine is used orally in 1000 mg doses, i.e. 4 250 mg pills once a day. It is administered twice daily in addition to abiraterone. Within 2 hours of administration, This is rapidly absorbed (bioavailable) throughout the body. In between 5 and 14 hours after this medicine has completed its action, roughly 55 percent of the medicine is eliminated from the body. On an empty stomach, this med is suggested.
